- Changes in Phoenix information.
- -------------------------------
-
- Hello! And welcome to a new kind of BBS software! Phoenix RCS (tm) v1.00
- is officially out on the market. If you have already set up your new Phoenix,
- whether converting from old Collie 1.2 systems, or a new user, then you have
- already seen the EXTREME power that this system possesses. Phoenix Menu
- System Plus (tm) is the most advanced and versitile menu system available
- for BBS operation. File transfers are available using any of 6 different
- protocols; the message system is superb, allowing messages up to 200 lines
- each, and comments directed to your own personal name. There is more and
- more, but that is what the documentation is for!
-
- Other than the release of Phoenix, there is not much that has changed in
- the last month. The AreaHosts and GeneSys Project Boards are listed in
- the SITES33.TXT file. You should check to see who your AreaHost is, as
- he is in charge of keeping track of your board and the others in your Area,
- as well as he will always have the latest nodelists and Phoenix
- information/versions.
-
- The GeneSys Project welcomes all comments regarding Phoenix, including
- suggestions for future versions. Comments may be left at any AreaHost
- or GeneSys Project Board; they will be received faster at the GeneSys
- Project Boards.
-
- Enjoy!
- Bennett Griffin - 800/1.
